Welcome to the Colorado Capitol Watch blog! We’re looking to make the blog entertaining, informative, funny, engaging, and provocative.  We’ll definitely need your help!

Most of the stuff on the blog is FREE.  We do ask that you sign up/log in to make comments to blog reports - that’s our way of ensuring that bloggers maintain civility while vigorously making points.  Our blog communication rules are straightforward:

• Keep the language appropriate for any person to read.  We hope to have lots of young people on the site as well as adults, so keep that in mind.
• No personal attacks.  It’s fair game to oppose a person’s point of view on an issue or a bill, but not to attack anyone ad hominem ( I learned that Latin term in high school, so I think I should finally use it).
• Add information to the discussion.  All of us can benefit from knowing more about any issue or bill, so if you have expertise in an area, we hope you’ll share it.
• Send us video/audio/text links so we can add information relevant to the Capitol and/or state issues to our site.
• GIve us feedback so we know if we’re meeting your needs.
