Description

The bill increases the number of members on the child welfare
allocations committee (committee) who are appointed by county
commissioners from 8 to 10. The bill decreases the number of members
on the committee who are appointed by the department of human services
from 5 to 3. The bill requires the 2 additional
county-commissioner-appointed members to come from the 2 counties

with the greatest percentage of the state's child welfare caseload, with one
appointee coming from each county.
