Description

The bill changes the penalty for abuse of a corpse to a class 6
felony.
The bill states that a defendant may not be convicted of more than
one offense if one offense is for tampering with a deceased human body
and the other offense is for abuse of a corpse, if the act arises out of a
single incident.
